AquaForte Mr. Silence has been a reliable heat pump in the market for years. The heat pump is made of high quality aluminum. In addition to its very modern design, it has a very low noise level.
Frost protection with heating belt
AquaForte Mr. Silence heat pumps are protected with 2 heating belts to prevent cold temperature damage to the heat pump.
Compressor protection. Activated at an ambient temperature of +/- 8°C if the compressor is turned off at that time. The heating belt will turn off again if the compressor turns on or if the ambient temperature exceeds +/- 8°C again.
Evaporator protection. This allows better drainage of the melting water, preventing ice formation around the heat pump. In addition, it accelerates the defrost function. Activated if the compressor runs continuously for 20 minutes and the outside temperature is +/- 0°C in heating mode. Activates when the defrost function is operating. The heating belt will turn off again if the temperature rises above this value again.
The heat exchanger is also protected against frost. If the incoming water temperature is 2°C and the ambient temperature is 0°C, the heat pump will automatically start in heating mode. If the water temperature is 15°C or the ambient temperature is 1°C, the heat pump will go back into standby mode.
This function only works if the heat pump has electrical power and the pool pump is also providing flow. If there is no flow through the heat pump, an E3 message will appear and the heat pump will shut down. Therefore, as protection against frost damage to the heat exchanger, it is necessary that the heat pump always has flow in the event of frost.
AquaForte Mr. Silence heat pumps are equipped with a modern touchscreen and a WiFi module that allows the heat pump to be operated remotely through an App (iOs & Android). The AquaForte Mr. Silence draws its air through the side of the heat pump. The cold air is blown out again at the rear. The AquaForte Mr. Silence has a special connection for connection to an external controller (Astral Elite / Sugar Valley). The controller gives a signal to the heat pump with which it is activated and deactivated. This keeps the heat pump energized at all times, so that the heat pump can always cool down.
